Plants Direct is a family run Garden Centre in Hertfordshire supplying the public with quality plants grown in our nurseries, including high quality roses and our award-winning hanging baskets; all at very reasonable prices.
We specialise in bedding and patio plants, herbaceous perennials, herbs, climbers, shrubs, alpines, and fruit. We also stock trees, conifers, heathers, and larger specimen plants sourced from around the country.
Our garden centre is situated between Radlett and Watford with a customer base in Hertfordshire and North London. We produce the majority of our plants in our nurseries, ensuring our plants are sustainably sourced. Other plants not from the nurseries are carefully sourced and selected from our associate nurseries.
Wherever possible, Plants Direct Garden Centre uses reduced peat compost and minimises chemical pesticide and fertiliser input, utilising organic fertilisers such as Maxicrop and natural pest control.
We are a member of the Horticultural Trade Association (HTA).
We sell and accept National Garden Gift Vouchers.

Winter Colour
We have in stock in flower :- Primroses, Hellebores, Winter Jasmine, Skimmia, Viburnum and Mahonia.
Winter Maintenance
Winter is a good time for pruning while the plants are dormant, e.g roses, fruit trees and shrubs. For frost protection on sensitive shrubs and trees, especially in pots use frost protection fleece (in stock). Have a garden clear and apply Farm Yard manure (in stock) ready for the Spring.

Our centre expansion continues and we now have in the start of our rootballed and bare root hedging plants.
